The Wildlife Ranger Program has expanded to include students from ages 5-14. Waystation Volunteers who have children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews and may know a friends child, now is the time to introduce them to the Wildlife Ranger Program.
We teach the students how to make specific treats for various animals at the ranch. We take pictures of the animals and show the photos to the Ranger students.
The students pick a wild or exotic animal to research and share the information with the other Rangers. This is a good way to gain confidence and meet new friends.
At every monthly meeting we have a surprise animal guest. Learn about the animal’s origin, habitat, food and care. Rangers will learn which animals make good pets and how to co-exist with wild animals.
The Wildlife Waystation Rangers have their own logo T-shirt.
A great way to exchange your Wildlife Waystation Volunteer experience with the Wildlife Ranger experience.
