Outreach and Off Ranch Events

One mission of the Wildlife WayStation is to educate the public about the global plight of wildlife, especially near cities. Our Community Outreach and Off Ranch Event programs help fulfill this mission.

We have an educational Outreach Program that involves our volunteers bringing various animals to schools, clubs, retirement facilities, etc. to help educate the public about the plight of wildlife in the world and how to co-exist peacefully with them.  It is a very informative, educational and enjoyable program for kids and adults alike!  If this is something that is of interest to you, please feel free to call or e-mail Kirsten Doss, our Outreach Coordinator.

If your community is having an event that you would like the Wildlife WayStation to participate in please contact Cassandra Hanson at 626/354-1216 or email at WaystationSpecialEvents@gmail.com .

Our Special Educational Presentations help teach the importance and interdependence of each and every species, conservation and the necessity of saving endangered animals. And they are FUN too.
